How to screen record on Mac

In 2018, Apple put built-in screen recording on its Mojave operating system (and imposed severe restrictions on third-party screen recording apps). A screenshot is a helpful software that records any video (and audio!) that you see on your screen. You’ll be able to use this function if you have macOS Mojave or a later version.

Having an older Mac or not updating your operating system in a while shouldn’t be a problem. QuickTime may still be used to record displays. The following options are available to you.
